Jellymould Jazz / Jazz Yorkshire seek
Yorkshire and Humber musician for CD / tour project 2009
Jazz musicians living in the Yorkshire and the Humber are invited to apply for the opportunity to work with Huddersfield-based jazz record label Jellymould Jazz in 2009 thanks to a new partnership between Jellymould Jazz and Jazz Yorkshire.
Jellymould Jazz was established to give jazz artists the opportunity to record, tour and promote their first album. The selected artist will be supported to compose music and rehearse before making a live recording at a jazz venue in the region. The artist will then undertake an autumn tour at theatres and jazz venues across the Yorkshire and Humber region. The final choice for the selected artist will be made from a panel of the Jazz Yorkshire Promoter Network, Jazz Yorkshire and Jellymould Jazz.
Previous Jellymould Jazz artists are Ruby Wood, Salerosa and currently Bach Reloaded who are preparing to record their first CD. www.jellymouldjazz.net/artists.html
